Guest shakers24 Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 Does anybody know if the SanDisk SD WiFi cards will work with SPV smartphones? I've just seen some for sale on ebay at: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...&category=44996 The advert says the device needs to have an SDIO slot, both of which the SPV and E100 have I think? Its just if they will work with smartphone 2002/2003 or not? Imagine surfing the net wirelessly, linked into your broadband router via Wifi at superfast speeds on your mobile phone! Or am I living in a dream world?! cheers
Guest chucky.egg Posted September 29, 2003 Report Posted September 29, 2003 Try a Search. The answer is NO unfortuantely, because drivers would be required and aren't being produced. Surfing using a Broadband connection is possible with other phones (N7650 and SE P800) but over Bluetooth. When the new SPV comes out with BT support it will probably be possible.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted September 30, 2003 Report Posted September 30, 2003 As long as it has 2003 running ;) 2002 does not have the support.
