SMS group sending/create personal folder (SMARTPHONE)

I found a very nice stuff for SMARTPHONE where you can send SMS in a group. You can define your own group name and also create your own personal folder for your text and save it their, you can even view unsent SMS and send it automatically......it is called "SMS Toolbox" a product of e-science of the philippines.

One problem that I've encountered with it is that it makes a phantom sms appear if you read your messages thru it and not the built-in sms application. It cannot identify that previously unread message was already read. :shock:

tama ka jan chard! ;) so because of the phantom sms, kelangan pang organize mo lang cya ng sms mo. as what spv_dman said, use the built-in sms tool phone pang read ng new sms.

speaking of phantom sms, may guide sa 'How To Repository' kung pano i-fix yun. for sure na try mo na yun chard?! :wink:

D ko pa try yung pang remove ng phantom sms, maybe later. What I do nung first ko na-experience yung is rename cemail.vol (d kasi puwedeng erase agad nag eerror) then restart the phone, then delete the renamed cemail.vol. Yung nga lang burado lahat ng sms ko. :roll:

yung phantom sms fix by EMGenius worked like a treat! di mawawala sms mo. yung counter lang ang aayusin nya. give it a try! ;)

what i did to get rid of it is to follow EMGenius method... and it worked great... ;)

one thing i noticed on SMS Toolbox is the flickering screen while creating and SMS message...

akin din walang flickering screen.. but mine hangs for a while whenever i exit the program...

hang din saglit sakin pag exit. di nga agad cya nadadala ng 'quit non-system applications' ng smartexplorer. dapat yung 'kill process' talaga or exit na lang. ;)

I haven't try na mag hang kaso ang Phantom SMS andyan pa rin kahit na ginamit ko na yong guide ni genius on how to rid.

i like this app kasi the sent msgs don't get saved, so i don't have to delete them pa.

question: pag may new message, the right button shows the word "message", then your built-in Inbox would open. is there a way to redirect it so that when i press "message", mapupunta ako sa SMS Toolbox?

i agree...and to add, pag naka SmartROM 1.3.7.8 ka pa gaya ko, wala cyang 'insert pre-defined text' feature so di ka maka insert nung mga smileys.

So guys and gals, suggestion lang para di na kayo magka phantom sms... use this app to organize your sms lang. creating new msgs, making sms replies, forwarding msgs, ipaubaya nyo na sa built-in inbox reader ng phone.

yun lamang po. ;)
