plug-ins next to each other?

Hi,

A quick question for all you skinning experts, as I'm new to all this...

Is it possible to display seperate plug-ins along side each other on a homescreen, rather than just above each other? I'd like to have an analogue clock (from the LCD or madbeetle plugins) with information like the carrier and the profile next to it, rather than below it. Has anyone found a way of doing this? If so, could you post a link to an example?
