I guess someone else have experience this problem.

I already have lots of configuration done on my smartphone but after I restart it the phone boot up a bit longer than the usual then my homescreen goes back to its default and messages like these appers:

1st: Add config... waiting

2nd: CHECK IPSM... waiting

3rd: CHECK PASS Press'OK' to restart the device

All these messages appear after the default homescreen of my phone apears.

The settings that I made are all back to the default. The list of application on the 'Remove Program' are gone so I will not be able to uninstall them on my phone if I want to and when I use ActiveSync it did not find the application that I installed. Thou the applications are still there and they are also in the start menu and I can still use them.

What do you guys think happen? What should I do? This thing happen to my phone twice. the first time it happen what I did was to bring back all my settings but not the one in the "Remove Programs' after two days it happen again.

I'll appreciate any help and info.

Thanks

Have you installed any updates on the phone? as the message will normally only appears after installing one on the phone.

As this has happened to you more than once I would suggest you do

a Hard Reset as it looks like the IPSM needs to be reset as it may be

slightly corrupt.

I updated my phone 2 months ago. For two months it works fine.

I think you're right, I was thinking also that some the files in IPSM or on my phone are corrupted. And that's what I am about to do, to Hard Reset my phone.

Thanks

One thing I would always advise, if you ever do an update, always

do a Hard Reset as parts of the old OS will still be present until you do.

i havent tried this but you can.what's probably happening is,you lost the .tmp files in your appmanager folder that's why the you dont see anything on the REMOVE PROGRAMS folder.here's what you can try doing.back up your appmanger folder.if this happens again, replace the appmanager folder in your IPSM with the appmanager back that you did.this is courtesy of pzee.its worth a shot.

Interesting tip if the problems happens again ;) but if the problem

had been just the missing list in Remove Programs, there is a known

bug where if you have 50+ installed apps the list dissappears.

A fix for this is to uninstall the apps games etc via Activsync until you

get back to 49 enteries then the list reappears as if by magic :D

When this thing happen to me I checked all the folders and files on my phone and from what I remember and am Im sure that the tmp files and the folders of the applications that are installed on my phone are all there. But you can not see them on the 'Remove Programs.'

I still don't know what happen. What I did was to Hard Reset my phone and uninstall all the applications from my desktop, uninstall activesync and reinstall them again.

And another thing is when this happens to me my phone hangs more often.
