Guest atonks Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Some scum-sucking low life decided that my SPV, cradle, charger, keyboard and the lovely Microsoft bag I won at the summer event, would be better off in their house than mine. So they let themselves into my house at 4:20 yesterday morning and "liberated" my SPV. (And a load of other stuff, like new Renault Scenic, camera gear, all my ID and plastic etc) (If you're reading this you b*st*rds, I hope you die a slow painful death!) So, now I've got no car and nothing to keep me amused on the bus. My dilemma is... Do I replace my SPV with an E-100 now, or try and live without a phone until the E-200 is available? (Whenever that is!) NOT POSTED FROM MY SMARTHPHONE
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Sorry to hear that ;) I presume you have had the phone blocked? Also if you did not have Orange care then your house insurance should cover the phone. If you don't get a like for like replacement then it all depends if you want to wait for the E-200.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Were you in the house then? They nicked your car too? Well bad... P
Guest Crispy Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 ... if you did not have Orange care then your house insurance should cover the phone. Sorry to hear that, but as Paul says, your normal insurance should cover the loss... And if I were you I would wait for the E100 ... something tells me that the release date isen't far away ;)
Guest atonks Posted October 3, 2003 Report Posted October 3, 2003 Yeah, I was in the house. When they found me they decided to stop emtying the house and leg it in my car. Gits. The phones (3) and all the cards were blocked before they had a chance to do any damage. But there's no sign of the car, and the prospect of getting across Brum by bus for a few weeks is really depressing  Goddamit, I work hard for that car! Why the flip should should some low-life get it for nothing !? And most of my toys too! No Orange care, household insurance will cover it, eventually. Treo..?
