Guest rodnav Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 @dmabag welcome to modaco, better to reply on new topics you've read, hard to discern to what exactly you are joining to. @sonborj, i've noticed that you use the quote function a lot, to save space, only quote the ones relevant to your reply and if what you quoted is right above your reply, better not use it at all.
Guest sonborj Posted October 6, 2003 Report Posted October 6, 2003 no problem dude... sorry sir rodnav.

Guest grifter Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 @dewslat, pag pinagbigyan natin lahat ng newbies na gumawa ng mga new threads all the time, then the Pinoy area would be in chaos. Free for all na.
Guest sonborj Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 @grifter I raised this issue sa forum improvement topic and awarner had a comment quote: This was dicussed in the early days of the site, and it was decided to allow everyone to post no matter what their status was. This allows everyone to feel they are part of the community from the moment they join. The only place where similar topics posted by new members should be the help and Advice section, as that's what it's there for to help new members Unless the topic is network related.
Guest grifter Posted October 8, 2003 Report Posted October 8, 2003 @sonborj, yes but the issue here is that the topic is vague. I am not against cross-postings, but I'm against vague topics. Also, MODS should lock similar threads and indicate a link to the right thread.
