Should I get the Orange SPV e100 or wait ?

I would like to get one of these Smart Phone but I have read alot of mixed views on the Orange SPV e100. So I dont know if I should get a new contract with that or not.

Or should I wait till the new on that will come out on the 8th?

What Smarthpone would you reccomend? (I live in the UK)

From what I gather the E100 is almost exactly the same as the original SPV apart from a better screen, an improvement in the button layout and it runs the 1.5 software.

I have an original SPV so in my case I'm waiting for the E200 to come out so I can have a look at the features before deciding what to do. There's other smartphones out there. Have a look in the news section for past new releases. Perhaps there's something there that you can compare to the current E100.

I bought my SPV E100 three weeks ago, without know about the impending E200. If I had known then I would have held out for it, however I am really pleased with it, and I am looking forward to next year when I upgrade to whatever the latest Smartphone on the market. If you can hold out, then do so for the E200 - by then the Smartphone offerings may have opened, with offerings from Motorola and Mitac.
