Guest MaJiK Posted October 4, 2003 Report Posted October 4, 2003 I am after a bit of advice. I am currently connecting via GPRS to a POP3 mail account and sending / receiving mail. I was wondering if there is a way to setup my mail so that I can recieve the headers via GPRS every hour as I am at the moment, but send mail via my PC internet connection only when I dock my phone and sychronize. Is this possible please ? TIA.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted October 5, 2003 Report Posted October 5, 2003 Sounds like it would be a good idea...but unfortunately, I don't think it's possible. Smartphone 2003/04 will have the ability to sync more than 1 email account. Which means you can setup and Inbox Active Sync as one email account and a POP3 on your phone (same email account) as the other. The ActiveSync connection will get the full email and the POP3 will get just the headers. You may get redundant mail....but it will do what you want.
