Guest unclelimey Posted October 7, 2003 Report Posted October 7, 2003 just read at smartphonethoughts.com that when the msn messenger update takes place on oct 15, our smartphones will not be able to connect to the messenger network... does anyone know anything about this, or about a possible software update to fix this.... ? as i use messenger on my phone all the time thanks in advance Posted from my SmartPhone!

Microsoft is working with its mobile operator partners to make updates available for all Windows Mobile-based Smartphones soon. We apologize for any service interruptions. MSN® Messenger is the only feature impacted by this update. Some Windows Mobile-based Smartphones will be compatible with the new protocol out-of-the-box and customers will not need to take any action in order to access MSN Messenger after October 15.
