no idea on the *.xm files..

the qtek 7070 is one of the HTC produced smartphones, and is (by a poll and guesswork) probably owned by 50% of the Smartphone owning forum members. it is rebranded by different companies as the SAP, e100, or by it's codename (tanager). It's an improved version of the original model the 'canary' aka SPV.

you'll have to convert the xm file to a wav file (either by using disk writer plugin in winamp (use oldskool plugin to play xm, gives best playback by far) or you can output to wav using Deliplayer), then its best to edit it in somthing like cooledit and get the wav down to 30 seconds in length, then output as a PCM wav file.

I think xm is a old-skool module format, isn't it? Or is it just sample data?

You could just try and download a wav version of the theme from the net, I'm sure there are plenty about. People use the exact same format (wav) for PC sounds, so there are a very large number of them available.
