In a fantasy world when all of the above are available from your high street Orange shop, which one would you buy?

I haven't got a clue, so I think this poll could be useful.

I have the bog standard original SPV (with a 256 SD card), which I purchased last December, so I am coming up the end of the contract and so I am looking for an upgrade.

I want the next version to have the following specs:

Faster processor

Better battery performance

Windows Smartphone 2003

Bluetooth

Integrated camera - preferably a camera that can be rotated to face me

Small, light and stylish design

I am not sure any of the models in your poll can meet all of these yet, or can they?

I believe that my next phone will be a Mitac Mio 8390 ... bluetooth and the 200mhz does the trick for me ;)

The Mio 8390 does look good, and almost meets my earlier criteria. Any idea how the camera mirror works?

i think this thread may be a little premature, Mobius and ITU conference are both on this week and we will (hopefully!) know of new smartphones very shortly (the LG rumour is still doing the rounds)

but anyway, out of those phones, possibly 8390, but i'll wait to hear of any news from ITU before i cast my vote ;)

Crispy: I don't think the 8390 will have bluetooth.

Woops, no, of course not ... Still, the 8390 would be the phone of my choice ;)

You could always add the Bluetooth sd card... I saw yesterday a WiFi SD card for 70 squids... Does anyone know if this is compatable with the Smartphone?

Good question!!!

Was originally going to go for the Voq (for the geeky gadget factor - oooh! built in k/b!)

BUT the biggest thing that bugs me about the SPV is how slow it can be and as I don't think the Voq is 200Mhz (at least I've not read that it is which means I could be very wrong) then the 8390 is the one for me.

By the way, has anyone noticed the new phone on 3? (WAIT before flaming!!!)

Nec 616 I think, it's a flip phone, THINNER than the original one, has 2 cameras (one on each side of the flip) AND has colour screen on front as well as inside. The only down side is that i know the software's going to be useless! why can't they make a smartphone like that?!?!?

the voq is 200mhz, and has more ram than any other smartphone (48mb rom and 32mb ram), so should probably be the fastest smartphone on the market when released (if no other phones are announced)

also, why no mention of the i930 from motorola? thats looking rather nice

well we know very little about it apart from a couple of passing comments, and there has yet to be a picture released. Still if its as good as proposed it might very well take the crown.

Fast processor, WM SE2003, Bluetooth, Camera and a sexy motorola design!

Mio 8390 for me with the inbuilt camera, WM SE2003, smaller than 8380 and the gpu ;)

Hey I'm deadly serious.

I think it could be a real contender.

It's out at the same time too.

It could be a hard decision to make.

Or even the new 3660 lol!

Seriously, after looking at the screenshots of the P900 I gotta admit Symbian LOOKS nice.

i voted for the e200

but im tempted to get the moto

all of them might have better build quality than the spv, and fingers crossed a radio stack that works

if not im going back to my nokia 2110

i voted for the VOQ. It's going to be super fast, it's got a built in flip open qwerty keyboard, it has a new high quality speaker with bass.. I'd rather have these over bluetooth & a camera. I spend about 90% of the time on my phone listening to music, listening to my fantastic ringtones, and inputting text (t9, ugg)

But its as big and ugly as f**k

it could be a little smaller and sleeker, but sometimes things look much different in person than on a computer screen. From the people who've used it, they say it looks nice, is a good size and fits comfortably in your hand..

Hahaha, you know only to well my friend. its like the old saying, "when a dog, looks like a fox...youve had at least 10 pints ;)

Down to what matters tho, how anyone finds the 8390 attractive to look at needs they're head examined. It looks like a cheap ass toy with that dull LCD clock rearing is ugly head on the what was once a sleek looking chrome exterior. However once opened up, technically its a different kettle of fish. I mean, that kick ass processor for starters! No bluetooth is a kick in the teeth for some and will push customers away in the general direction of the E-200. Personally it has no competition. Well, it would have if the P900 had Wm2k3

i think we have 2 people here obsessing how bad they think the Voq looks, you dont like it, dont buy it, get over it, if people do like it thats THEIR opinion, you dont see them spamming all the threads about how nice it is do you.
