Guest ruhande Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 I want to buy the new Pocket music player, but I hesitate because the beta version just stuttered. If the final version isn't any better it's a waste of money to buy it. Has anyone bought it? Can you tell us if it works all right??

Have a look at this thread ;) I've found that using Oggs at 64Kb/s there's no stuttering at all, the old version was a nightmare. Also, there MIGHT be no need to buy it, if you believe what the demo says you've got 210,000 years before it runs out :D :?:
Guest ruhande Posted October 9, 2003 Report Posted October 9, 2003 Thanks for the info! I will try that and save some money!!
Guest ruhande Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 Ahh! It works very well with .ogg files as long as I don't use the equalizer. That is probably because of the slow prossessor in the Qtek. Pocket Music is worth buying!!
Guest Myke Posted October 11, 2003 Report Posted October 11, 2003 what program are you using to convert OGG 64k
Guest ruhande Posted October 11, 2003 Report Posted October 11, 2003 I use a program called Cdex. You can find it here: http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/
