I NEED THE VODAFONE SETTINGS FOR THE SPV PLEASE HELP!!!!!

hi im new to this forum i recently got an SPV. i had a sharp gx20 on vodafone contract.

ive unlocked the spv but the gprs settings have no effect on the phone

the email, msn messenger also dont work.

this sites been helpful so far for removing the simlock. But really need your help again!!.

the phone is quality

Just click on GPRS settings to take you to the settings repository.

If you had a GX20 then it may be that you only have WAP over GPRS which uses APN (Access Point Name) wap.vodafone.co.uk ;) On the SPV this will be allocated to the WAP connection which uses WSP (Wireless Session Protocol). Try and access WAP sites using wsp://(WAP address) ie wsp://www.google.com/wml

I don't think think you'll get into Vodafone Live as this only supports certain phones types.

I believe the MMS settings should also work.

To get all the good stuff on the SPV you probably need to ask Vodaphone CS to activate the GPRS Internet service for you (APN internet). This is allocated to the SPV Internet Connection and will give you full HTML internet browsing, E-mail and Messenger.
