Guest [email protected] Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 Just had a look at Sharp Gx20 which has a 240 by 320 pixel screen. Wow, absolutely stunning. Isn't that normal resolution for PPC's? If hardware should come along, will WM 2003 support higher resolution screens?
Guest midnight Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 it wont happen in smartphones, at least for a while, and definitely wont be supported by 2003
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 This isn't supported in 2003, but it is something I wouldn't be surprised to see down the line. There are a number of compatibility issues with doing this that MS needs to get around, but never say never ;) P
Guest midnight Posted October 10, 2003 Report Posted October 10, 2003 easy way is to multiply by 2, so res=352 x 440, then to be backwards compatible, just double the size of the pixels of any sp2k2/sp2k3 app (if ms use this idea i want royalties ;))

Though user software would be able to acces all screen of the phone, the shell of sm 2003 will be seen only on a part of the screen corresponding to its design resolution (176x220). DM
