These are for the pocket PC but work fine in the Smart Phone too.

Go to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/res...lringtones.mspx (never mind the instructions, just hit download).

Download, sync and install as usual (.exe file).

Once installed, you have to move the tones from a file called "rings" in the IPSMWindows folder. Open the "Rings" file and just select all and Cut.

Then explore over to Windows, and right click anywhere to paste all the ring tones.

When you go to Settings...sounds you will find all the new ring tones are there and useable.

Thats it! ;)

one tip, DO NOT install ringtones or, anything else for that matter, into the Windows folder, instead, install ringtones into IPSMApplication DataSounds (you may have to create the folder called Sounds if it doesnt exist, and for dopod 515 users, i believe instead of IPSM they have a folder called Storage, so it will be StorageApplication DataSounds)

The reason for this is that after a power cycle, anything you put into the Windows folder will be deleted.

hope this helps

also, these ringers have been mentioned a while ago here. ;)

Yes, The last post is entirely right. It is no good to put sounds in the windows folder. I found the same thing as soon as I rebooted my phone.

Sorry for that, guess that is why it says "newbie"

Thanks for the help and correct directions!
