SMS Caller ID prob

I've got an E100 unlocked and decerted on Vodafone PAYG, I imported all contacts from sim, so theyre all on sim and saved to fone, when i receive a message I only get the number in +447etc.etc. format and not the number i have saved to fone and sim, but theyre all saved in 07etc.etc. format. It really perplexes me that they don't show up, all phone calls and call history are Call ID'd, so why not texts?
