Guest A.Hughes Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 Hi Guys,,,,i posted this in help and advice when really i should have posted in here... I have the xbar loaded onto my spv....but for some reason unknown to me, the cut and paste exe files and ink files keep showing error messages when i bring up xbar and then press the 4,5 or 6 shortcut key.... Am I putting these files in the right place, i currently have xbar on my sd card with a shotcut to IPSMwindowsstartup, the cut and paste files are also on my sd card with short cuts also to IPSMwindowsstartup. Somewhere something isnt right and more than likely its probably me, my deepest gratitude to anyone who is using this software correctly (its not me for starters) who can put me in the right direction :?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted October 13, 2003 Report Posted October 13, 2003 hi there. you should have posted this q on the original thread by maxh2003, the author of the copy and paste plug-in for xbar. anyway to answer your q, all the files should be in directory IPSMProgram FilesX-Bar you should put xbar.exe, Copy.exe, PASTE.exe, Second Copy.exe, 4, 5, and 6 inside 'X-Bar' folder. you may create a link (shortcut) to xbar.exe in your start menu folder or the startup folder. hope that helps ;)

You're fine having all the files on your SD card in with Xbar. You just need to edit the path in the 4, 5, and 6 shortcuts accordingly. Currently they are expecting the 3 .exe's to be in IPSMProgram FilesX-bar. Just edit that path to be Storage CardProgram Filesblah blah blah......
