Guest djdino Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 Hey guys... I always have full network coverage/reception from my network/carrier with usually '4' bars on the receptions meter [top right corner of screen] but most times, people try to call me and they say that "my phone is off" Has anyone ever had this problem? When this occurs, I try to call someone and it wont call.. it just goes back to the home screen... I tried turning to AIRPLANE MODE then turning AIRPLANE MODE off again and I could call after that... This is some wierd @#@% HELPPPPPPPP Thanks guys! Regards Vince [Australia PS: Oh, and also, I got myself a dummy e100 cover that I wanna replace on my phone and it has the ORANGE carrier logo on the cover, is there a way to wipe it off with some liquid cleaner or paint thinner of some sort? thanks
Guest mvsmith07 Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 In other threads I seem to remember people have just had to do a soft reset in order to get incoming calls active again. Can't remember if there is a fix or if it is "one of those things"!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 Have a look at this post (5 pages long though :?) http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php...e+receive+calls Another post claimed O2 told them it was down to having an old SIM card.
Guest djdino Posted October 15, 2003 Report Posted October 15, 2003 Thanks for the replies guys! Had a read of that post but no fixes as of yet :) It gets really annoying and I'm thinking of swapping my e100 for a Ericsson t610 :(
