you just have to put cab files on the phone then run them using your phone. you can use a program like smart explorer to browse your phone and run the file.

Posted from my SmartPhone!

jus click on the cab file and put it on the storage card. then with smart explorer jus click on it using the action key or joy stick. hey presto it will start running.

hope this helps mate.

pasting the cab into that dir was the right way about it,

u can do the same with the storage card,

(ie open my computer, mobile device, my smartphone, storage card. paste!!)

open smartexplorer, storage card, click on the cab u have copied

or

if u havent got smartexplorer past into the ispmwindowsstart menuapps

then run from your program menu

if u cant paste, then activesync is playing up, take the phone off the cradle and wait about 5 secs, then reinsert. wait for the green spinning thing to stop and it should allow paste again.

i find the new activesync does this more than the old version. i have to close the windows and open them again for my spv to show up

(but thats another reason to buy a card reader, big files now get transfered in less then 5 minutes where they used to take 30+)

Yep that's the right place to place cab files prior to being installed, just curious when you say you try to extract the files?

Once the cab files arre in the Accessories folder, on the phone just go to

ProgramsAccessories and the cab file will be there for you to choose and install :)

Why not, what message are you getting?

you should be able to just drag and drop the files, unless somehow

you have made them read only :?

if the caB file was originally in a zip, you must extract it first. (xp tries to be helpful by opening zip files and letting you copy contents, but not to a mobile device)
