Guest gladel Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 Is anybody from SMART reading this? If so, could SAP users make a petition, too, for SMART to give us the freedom to choose our networks (provided for plan users who have their subscription lapsed and for prepaid users who have their warranties past due already). Any suggestions?
Guest sonborj Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 i dont think that would be granted. SMART purchased the rights to distribute TANAGERs or VOYAGERs so they wont unlock your phone even if your plan has lapsed. why dont you just unlock it yourself with the help of this forum? maraming tutulong sa yo.
Guest binky_p Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 gladel, Smart Communications wont grant your request or a petition to unlock phones of their own...same as globe and sun and any other carriers...its a marketing strategy...did you know that interconnections between telephone companies, including gsm features such as sms, went even in some legal issues...?..as sonborj said, let yourself do the thing..I'm very much sure it won't happen...(just like shooting for the moon)...
Guest aldousbee Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 hmm.. how about GPRS? balita ko sa globe daw libre (can you guys confirm this?) diba me petition ang Modaco for a flat rate GPRS. pwede rin kaya sa Smart yun?
Guest smartrey Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 You can now send MMS from Smart to Globe. Try it.

Guest jello_e Posted October 18, 2003 Report Posted October 18, 2003 hmmm... i sent mms from globe to my SAP pero i didnt have to log to the smart site pa... kita ko na kagad sa inbox. :)
Guest casperr Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 that means your MMS is activated. yung nakareceive lang na maglog in sa site nila, that means their MMS is not activated and kahit anong daming request mo sa globe CS na i activate yan, you would be lucky kung gagawin ng mga lintek yan
Guest mariolouis Posted October 19, 2003 Report Posted October 19, 2003 i just received that message from smart too! so dali-dali kong sinubukan. ayaw sya ma-send!!! laging failed. smart to smart pasok naman. bakit kaya? another thing, i've heard something about smart offering free gprs in response to globe's charging of gprs service by nov1. any news guys?

BTW...welcome to MoDaCo :) (edit) Guys, off topic na kayo. pls post inter-operator MMS concerns here http://smartphone.MoDaCo.com/viewtopic.php?t=94627 cheers! ooops  ...sorry. just read the above quoted post...i would appreciate an answer though (pls post in the proper topic/thread).
Guest polgas_3 Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 i don't think smart will counter the move of globe to charge the subscribes with the GPRS usage.
