Lost my SPV Cd :(

I know it's stupid, but I have. I've downloaded the latest version of Active Sync but it won't recognise my SPV - it tells me that nothing's there! I've had it work fine when I tried it at a friends house (before I lost my disc), but I can't find the program I need anywhere. Has anyone got any links or advice? Orange were no help. Failing that, could someone email me the file I need? It's just a standard, old style SPV.

Hi,

Zipping the F:MSACTSYNC directory is a 4.8MB file that contains the entire Active Sync installation from the CD and works great for me (although the last version also works great for me).

I can DCC it to you using ICQ or Messenger or just email you if your inbox can eat 5 megs.

Alright, I emailed it.

I run my own mail server and knew 5 megs isn't a problem for it, was just afraid your side won't be able to get 5 megs, even if your inbox is allowed to contain more, a single mail can be stuck and get timed out in the download...

Anyway, I hope you'll be able to download it to your inbox, tell us if you managed to install & sync properly.

The latest version of Activsync should work fine :? I have been using

it for a while now with no problems at all.

Well he said he downloaded it and it didn't work..

I too have been using the version from the cd for a while with no problems, and also the new version once it came out - no problems there too...
