Nice idea - but it's not available yet:

Updates for Orange SPV and SPV E100 Windows Mobile-based Smartphone customers will be made available directly from Orange. Unfortunately, this software update is not available at this time.

OOpps my bad, I just grabbed the PDA update, I did see the smartphone link and thought it was there.
