Scratched Screen :(

i had my phone in its ugly black leather case in my pocket and i went to carphone warehouse and the bloke there said the SPV is crap so i took it out and it was scratched :cry:

can i claim on warrenty because its ment to be safe in carry case ?!?!?!?!

/me pokes fun at chris for going to carphonewhorehouse

to remove scraches from screen -

load titanic into dvd player,

get some brasso and toothpaste,

apply toothpaste to wad of brasso,

press play on dvd,

rub screen of spv untill film ends replacing brasso/toothpaste wad when it looks worn out.

wipe off minty bits and have scratch free phone.

:) Great solution but it only works because as well as removing the scratches it also removes the screen!! :(

shhh, It does work, i have tried it and everything

the reson why it works so well is the toothpaste and brasso are mild abrasives and the brasso contains polish which smooth out the scratches and buff the screen. you could spend a small fortune on "scratch removers" but they do more damage to the screen than good.

It all depends on how deep the scratches are and if you can be bothered about claiming on orange care (not that thats what orange care is for)
