Backing up

i want to backup my IPSM, but i'm not sure how to go about this. I want to update the SPV's ROM to the I-Mate ROM, but read that if trying to go back to the Original Orange update that that there is a problem.

Anyone know how to please,

You can backup the IPSM by using SBTerm, instructions on how to do this are in the FAQ section.

As for updating you could always wait a few weeks for the official

Orange update to be released. It has been posted that it should be

released around the 15th Nov

ok cool there is another update coming out. this new update that comes out, is it as good as the I-mate update.

I read somewhere around the forums that Orange had planned to scrap the the 1.6 update they were working on before because of IPSM issues. Have they restrarted again or what i was reading was it false info??

Initially it was going to be skipped but it looks like the 1.6 number is being kept rather than labeling it 1.7 also it should be similar if not better than the I-Mate.
