Guest Simon Desser Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Soft Agency LLC have just released this new pinball game:- A cool new pinball game for Smartphone. Realistic and addictive real-time pinball designed for Pocket PC. Features: - incredible graphics; - sound effects; - customizable buttons; - realistic physics; I've not tried it yet, but one thing that concerns me, is that in their blurb, it says "Designed for Pocket PC" :? Fast vs. Furious Pinball is available to try/buy on Handango
Guest muff Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 1 - the installer doesn't work properly if you install to the Storage Card - it installs to the path that would be suitable for the installation to phone - therefore no shortcut appears - THIS IS INEXCUSABLE 2 - when you finally find where it's installed to and run it, you can only play 1 ball - maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to fire the second ball - I have to quit the game completely and go back in to fire another ball - maybe it's the limit of the demo, don't know 3 - only one table? demo limit? dont know 4 - in the brief moments of play you get with the 1 and only ball, the ball's physics appear anything but real, sometimes the ball movement seems very jerky creating an unbelievable experience obviously these are just my opinions and you are welcome to try it yourself and see what you think
Guest comebackdx Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 I Agree with muff. 1. Install to SD, and you find the .exe lurking in the SDWindowsStart MenuGames. No shortcut. 2. You run the game and indeed you only get one ball, but worse than that the game does not tell you that the game has ended, you just sit and look at the screen pressing the buttons in frustration trying to illicit a response. 3. Only one table - I could find no instructions to access any option or info. other than the SOUND ON/OFF. In fact I had to exit the game and restart to start a new game. I think a pinball game would work well on the SPV, simple controls - left/right and nudge - portrait orientation - you could even feature vibration when a person nudges the table.
Guest unclelimey Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 another duff game from the soft agency.... avoid their games !
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 'Fast v Furious' as opposed to 'Fast and the Furious'? P Posted from my SmartPhone!
