Guest darkmatter Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Is there any of you experiencing garbled SMS with different special characters? . Is it true that this was caused by weak signal? How come? When I'm using my Nokia no problem such as this occured even the signal is weak..
Guest ranzz Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 My friends are used to me having a phone with Hebrew support (SGH-R220, my old Nokia 3650) so they keep sendinh Hebrew SMS to my SPV and I can't see them... What I was thinking is somehow copy just a font from the Windows' fonts and try to see if that makes any difference, maybe use the registry to tell the phone what font to choose? Maybe I should post this under the help or some other discussions forum? it could be quite the idea... but I need help.
Guest amo Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 Text messages with "garbled" characters from unknown senders or unclear senders could also be SIM updates sent from the network you are using to activate or modify different services on your phone or account.
