Guest comebackdx Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 I'm in the process of tidying up the icons currently on display when you click Programs. I've moved everything I can using Smart Explorer to Accessories, Orange etc., but there I am having problems shifting the the Information program/shortcut. Can anyone provide me with any suggestions?

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 comebackdx A suggestion only as I have not tried with that icon, have a go at renaming the sile extension to say .jpg then power offon the phone and you should now be able to movedelete the icon. If you wish to still use it then remember to rename the extension.
Guest bikespod Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 thanks yet again AW. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest Simon Desser Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 comebackdx A suggestion only as I have not tried with that icon, have a go at renaming the sile extension to say .jpg then power offon the phone and you should now be able to movedelete the icon. If you wish to still use it then remember to rename the extension. It won't let you rename or delete it directly on the phone (it says it's either read only, or you don't have sufficient privleges). But, if you connect your phone via ActiceSync, and browse to the shortcut in IPSM, Windows, Start Menu (I think it was called something like SimTK.ink) you can simply delete the shortcut using your PC. Obviously it will still show up till you either quit all apps with a Task Manager, or restart your phone :)
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 I did say I had not tried it :? Thanks Simon :)
