Guest Cyberdim Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Apparently, to celebrate the launch of Motorola MPx200 SmartPhone in USA (and MoDaCo dude with American flag :) ), Microsoft is getting ready to release a set of new games for SmartPhone users. I was able to extract the stuff from the web site  (normally it downloads to your SmartPhone, but my attempts to get it to my phone did not work) and put it in a zip file. Just copy the content to a folder on your SD card, enjoy… Available here at MoDaCo firstMSGames.jpgMSGames.zip
Guest comebackdx Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Thanks for taking the time to upload these. Is Cubicle Chaos is the first Breakout clone on the SPV to allow the ball to shot off the paddle at various angles, rather than just 45 degrees?
Guest chucky.egg Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Do these work on the Smartphone2002 Orange SPV E100?
Guest comebackdx Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Do these work on the Smartphone2002 Orange SPV E100? They sure do.
Guest crafty Posted October 21, 2003 Report Posted October 21, 2003 Thanks very much for uploading these games... pity they're a bit pants!
Guest Lojt Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 Thanks for taking the time to upload these. Is Cubicle Chaos is the first Breakout clone on the SPV to allow the ball to shot off the paddle at various angles, rather than just 45 degrees? Nope, there's also Bust'em.
Guest comebackdx Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 Is there a demo/trial of Bust-em available?
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 That fire game is neat - cheers !
Guest zxt Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 Hey thanks for uploading and letting us know. Cheers!
Guest chucky.egg Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 Yeah Fire Drill is worth the licence cost ($0 :) ), but the others are a bit naff
Guest Lojt Posted October 22, 2003 Report Posted October 22, 2003 Is there a demo/trial of Bust-em available? Nope, but here it is.
Guest mwille Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Nice stuff this, Microsoft ! To bad that "Microslot" doesn't save your "score"... you start all over if you end the game and start over a while later. Anybody notice that by repeatedly pushing menu-about adds $100 to your credits each time :)
Guest volvo57 Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 As a newbie, can someone tell me where on the storage card to put these games and how to access them from the phone. Thanks :?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 Unzip the files and they will be in a folder, copy the folder via Activsync to StoragecardProgram FilesGames (this can be any folder etc it's up to you :)) Then copy the icons and paste shortcuts to IPSMWindowsStart MenuGames And that's it :( now on your phone just go to ProgramsGames and the three games will be there.
Guest Symos Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 Is it just me that can't download the file? It does nothing for a while and then says that download is complete but file is empty. Any ideas?
Guest Brody Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Try disabling your firewall and then downloading, this happens to me sometimes :?
Guest MoRFLeZ Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 The MicroSlot game is narf!!! When you select "About" you get 100 extra coins .. *pout* - that just means you have to play longer *innocent blink*! I quite like the Fire Drill game though!!
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 Fire drill is cool - its annoying that it doesnt let you save though. Anyone been past level 4 ? spacecowboy
