Irritating Bug***

I have been experiencing an irritating bug recently on my E100. When my phone is locked and I receive a call sometimes when the call ends I am left with the contact details screen (which is damned annoying ANYWAY) but I can't unlock the phone to clear it. I can use the joystick to scroll up and down but can't click anything. Pressing the left softkey does nothing (no option to unlock), whilst pressing the 'dial' key occasionally causes the screen to display 'unable to answer call'. My only option is to pull the battery out. Anyone else experienced this?

The first problem of the contact details has always happened :)

As for the rest have you been playing around with any updates at all?

Reason being that there was a similar bug with early builds if I

remember rightly the first Danish update did this where you could not unlock the phone after using the keypad lock.

But where your problem is slightly different are you sure that you do

not have a sticking left softkey?

Nah, no updates. To be honest phone has been getting more and more flakey for a while. Totally locked up yesterday and had to do hard reset. Thank goodness for modaco! I would have been stuffed otherwise. So I am back to plain vanilla phone again. :)

Worst news is that I bumped into a couple of friends I haven't seen in, oooh, about 8 years the other day and guess what, I have lost their contact details.

I could weep.

Only advice I can give for the future it to remember to sync your contacts with your PC.

I had a problem similar to that (losing details), was meant to be meeting some old school friends for dinner, and the day after i put the reminder it my phone reset itself and lost the calender info (hadn't synced that day), needless to say I missed the meeting :).
