Guest Simon Desser Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 VGA F2.8 SPV E200 Camera VGA F3.5 1:2:8 Nokia 6600 Camera Which one is better? The only real way to say is to try them both  "On paper", they're both the same spec:- Both VGA ie 640 x 480 pixels. You've said the 6600 is F3.5, but it's not, it's 1:2.8, which is another way of saying F2.8 (same as the E200) This indicates the aperture of the lens, or how much light it lets in. What 3.5 relates to (no F in there) is the "angle of view" A standard SLR camera's view is 50mm (or 45mm in the old days) But standard focal length or angle of view, varies according to the film size, or in digital terms, the size of the chip. I don't know the focal length of the E200's camera, but chances are it's the same or very similar to the Nokia's. So in theory, on paper, they're the same :) (Sorry if I got carried away with the technical stuff)6600 Cam.jpg
Guest v_patel1 Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 thnx, this helps me for my decision of which phone to buy E200 or 6600
Guest Sackgesicht Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 Hi, we made a lot of pics in the past with Nokia 3650 >f=2,8 and SPV Tanager (f=?) The pic quality was always better at SPV - believe us. The only thing was the slow serial connection - you have a bad preview at the screen. But for the new E200: cam is build in, comfort like Nokia and others and the quality will be better, again. Greets Sackgesicht For expl: Nokia 7650 has only f=3.5 and the light sensity is not so high...
Guest v_patel1 Posted October 23, 2003 Report Posted October 23, 2003 so is e200 is betta, i have noticed SPV quality is betta thn 7650
