Guest m4rcus Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 Erm, here's the story... I tried out Agile for the first time today at about 12pm spoke a few words with my mate who was online and it seemed to drop the connection as the G went. About an hour later I was on my Home PC on the same MSN account (so I must have been signed out?) chatted for a few mins, then closed the connection. At 2:30 I picked up my phone and Agile was running again, no one could have touched it as no one is here. The GPRS was connected again, and so was I too MSN.... When I checked the data trasfer the bloody thing read sent - 1589 received - 27796156 WTF!?!?!?!?! So can anyone tell me if this is an error or have I got a bloody large bill at the end of the month? Also, at its max. what is the amount of data that you can download in on hour? Cheers
Guest chucky.egg Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 Probably unconnected, and of no help to you whatsoever, but I had a similar problem downloading an email An email I sent myself of 72Kb failed to download, and when I checked the Traffic Monitor log it showed that I had used over 1.6Mb (I'd checked it a few minutes before attempting to download the email). I haven't bothered to call OCS because (a) I doubt they care, and (:) my GPRS use often goes over my 2Mb bundle. For 30Mb I would definately call them and at least verify the figure. Maybe this is a new O tactic for increasing GPRS usage
Guest m4rcus Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 I have phoned OCS and they say that they cannot look at the bill until it has been made available to me, on my billing date, eith by phoning them, checking online (orange account), or by the normal post... So at the moment I'm a little pissed off waiting to know if these figures are even reachable in that amount of time...
Guest blewer Posted October 25, 2003 Report Posted October 25, 2003 I read another post about the GPRS data tranfer on agile being all over the place. I doubt you will have a big bill but check when possible.
