I'm running version 3.7.1 - which I think is the latest version available from MS site - & it's SOOOOOOO BAAAAAAAAAD!!

On a test 10 mins ago it failed to synchronise 7 out of 10 times. :) Is this common? Anybody have any great chants / mantras that make it work??

I've tried reinstalling it with no improvement. It just sucks!

Hmm, the first couple of days with 3.7.1 were distinctly ropey - but seems to be OK now. Can't say it is any more reliable though.

I've been using it for the Pocket PC and it works 100% even for remote ActiveSync.

With the Smartphone... I'm using the PPCW.Net i-Mate ROM and is seems to work too.

What are the results yu've been getting?

And what ROM version are you using with your Smartphone?

With my old 1.5.0.28 ROM it was a headache... with the 1.50.8.6 I have no problems.

I'm on Orange ROM 1.5.0.29 on E100. Not planning on changing ROM until O release the 1.6 build. So if nothing else, I'll just deal with how crap it is until then!!

I found the 3.7.1 version of active sync to be completely unreliable like you found untill i formatted and re-installed XP on my PC for some completey unrelated reason...

Now 3.7.1 activesync is working absolutely faultlessly, hasn't had a single problem yet
