As for me, I'm gonna hopefully upgrade to the E200 around Xmas. Dunno how much its gonna cost but I should be able to recoup the worst from my SPV, which, at the moment, is complete, box and all. Shame its not any faster, but hopefully the extra accessories will make up for it. I really like the integrated camera though...

Also, I've been told that the Orange folk are currently undergoing their training for the phone and so it should be out fairly soon.

But, IMHO, I still think the E200 has some significant shortcomings: 1. Processor. OK so WM2003 is alledged to make better use of 132MHz, but is it any better at playing Media? Is there any substitute for raw power when it comes to pushing pixels? 2. Design. As funky as the blue LEDs are, what we are talking about here is a minimal update of the E100 design. Vain as it is, before I part with my hard-earned, I want something that looks distinctly new. And with regard to those that say 'if it ain't broke...' 3. Design again. I am coming round to thinking that the optimal design for a large screen colour camera phone is the flip, rather than a candy bar.

Whilst I really want to get my hand on an E-200, knowing my luck I know that in a few months there will be a phone brought along similar to that of the mpx200 where it has everything the E-200 has to offer. Its not fair ! :cry:

I'll probably wait and see what the feedback is on it for a week or so (Having got one of the first original SPV's i'll see what the rest of you make of it!) Then -and I know this is risky here- I am also going to take a long hard look at the SE P900. I know it is a different beast but it looks tempting. Then I am going to see what deals I can get on upgrading given I am spending about 500 quid a month on O and have had no upgrades since my original SPV a year ago there have better be a good deal in the offing.

I think i will stick with the E100 and wait till the next big thing comes out in 6 months :) later Owen

However the 1.6 upgrade will keep me happy with my original SPV until the upgrade price comes down to around the £100 mark. My contract doesn't expire until around Christmas so it will be first quarter 2004 for me.

I'm sure 80% of people on this forum would upgrade and there is nearly 20,000 members!!!!!!!!!!! (not all in Europe, but most are) Come on Orange use your brain, there is money to be made here. P.S Mr Orange see what you can do :)
