new spv user! dont know how to get on inernet? help!

hello, just got a spv and cannot get on the internet! i have network unlocked it and have a o2 sim in phone. i also have an orange sim but this still does not work? all i get is unable to place call?????

need togo on internet so as to be able to decert phone through orange!

please help???

You need to have GPRS enabled by your operator before you can access the internet.

As for setting up the phone click on GPRS settings for more info.

First of all Im not the guy to ask about the O2 settings using GPRS. If you do a search on the forum Im sure you will find them. As to your Orange sim card, I first needed to phone Orange to activate my GPRS so give the ma phone 2moro and hopefully you should be up and running.

I think Orange has a bit of a GPRS fault at the moment so I would leave that SIM for now. Try it later

Is your O2 SIM contract or prepay ? I think you need a contract SIM to get the GPRS internet service. Prepaid only gives WAP over GPRS.

You can still decert the phone using the pass through connection.

Try the Orange SIM now as GPRS seems OK again :)

My GPRS was working fine yesterday, however its taking its sweet time now :roll:

I for one cant really complain and have very rarely been unable to access the net through GPRS - got my bill in yesterday and didnt know I was group 2 for GPRS, mamanged to save up 4mb of data so i've started to burn it up whenever im on the train, bus, car wotever.
