Guest djdino Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Hey guys... Just got my mail today, a brand new SPV E100 dummy phone! Now's the challenge to pulll it apart and change over the pieces. Does anyone have any pictures or tutorials on how to do this? Also is it possible to rub out the ORANGE logo on the front face? Or do I just have to live with it... Thanks in advanced guys and please pleaaaaase reply :) Regards Vince [sydney Australia]
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 I normally start at the bottom seperating the case using my finger nail. Just be patient when taking the case apart and try not to use a screwdriver or you will mark the plastic.
Guest martin Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 djdino Take you dummy phone to a Orange Shop where they will inspect it for several minutes before replacing it with a brand new working SPV E100 :) Only kidding guys

Guest ranzz Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 I don't know if it's a myth or a true story, but I actually heard about thie happening!!! As I told you guys before, the reps. here are really stupid, the story goes a little something like this: A guy went to a "Pelephone" small service center, just a point in the mall, not a real center with a lab and everything, and the reps. there are really low. they know nothing about cellphones nor the art of selling, just complete fools, anyway he wanted to upgrade his old phone (SK 5100 DUMMY) to the new SK 5400 color phone, but when the rep. tried to boot up the phone to see if it works he said that the battery's dead cause he didn't charge it for a few days, and he also forgot the charger at home, so she tried being all cool and said "don't sweat it, just bring the charger along tomorrow" and REPLACED THE PHONE! :)
