HELP, Dodgy Files on my Storage Card

Help me!!!

I thought my card had more memory on than was showing, and there are now files on my card I can't delete, whenever I try it says unable to delete, they are massive files as well!

Names are all dodgy as well, not proper charachters, so can't even rename them, or move them, what do I do??

you could always format your card using task manager, make sure you copy everything you want to keep on to your desk top. coz when you format it everything goes. hope that helps.

Its already formatted e.e. 128mb sd card is really only 120mb.

Names are all dodgy as well, not proper charachters, so can't even rename them, or move them, what do I do??

sounds very much like a corrupt filesystem on the card

copy whatever it'll let you into a folder on your PC, format the card with taskmanager or a cardreader, then copy the remaining files back.

I've had this before, i fixed it by performing a soft reset (restart), cleaning my SD card and blowing in the socket, its worth a go before formatting the card! I'm not sure how much a hard reset will accomplish tbh as its reading the card but cannot read it correctly...

I wish I had tried this, I have just had to do a hard reset, format my card, and put everything back on, it has taken a good couple of hours!!

Gonna do more backups now!!
