spv & qtec rom: help

Hi all,

there's someone who can help me, please?

I heard something about the possibility to install on my spv (UK-bought)the qtec 1.5.09 rom (or something like that...). Is that correct? If so, where can I find the application?

Best advice is wait a few weeks and install the proper UK update.

(it's better than the Qtek one :))

I'm not 100% sure but I believe you would need to "re unlokc" an SPV after an upgrade.

(IT will come with a new security policy in the ROM) so I guess you will need to go back to the Orange Developer Forum and get the unlock cab from there.

Correct as upgrading to the latest update will wipe the IPSM so you

will need to decert again using the Orange Developers site.

:shock: Really ?! Damn.. First of all I'm no Orange customer (Orange network coverage sucks here) and second of all I live in the Netherlands so I won't be able to use the UK developers site, right ?

Since I don't want the dutch ROM's (like englisch on my phone :) ) I am basically screwed then aren't I ! :(

You can still unlock the phone, use the sticky post above about decerting and you should not have a problem.
