Guest elvie Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 You guys getting MMS Spam from Orange? Do they really think you need to be reminded [2 days late in my case] that you need to put your clock back a hour? And we know it's Halloween, but that's not till tomorrow!! Why don't they give us a treat, cheaper services would be nice!! I don't suppose they're giving us a credit for the GPRS data costs that we're incurring when we download their messages are they? Know it doesn't cost that much, but when you multiply that across the whole network, its got to add up!! Please orange, no more SPAM!!
Guest kyrkesmith Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 Think this is in the wrong category really, but there we go. I didn't receive this message from Orange, and don't think I've every received an MMS from them - but I'm on PAYG. I do get quite annoyed by their frequent SMS messages though. The only one I ever wanted was the one saying I had free GPRS for a month.

Know it doesn't cost that much, but when you multiply that across the whole network, its got to add up!! You don't get charged to recieve a MMS, even though it uses GPRS to pick it up (I assume it uses a different gateway). Agree about the spam issue though- fortunatly I haven't recieved any yet and I hope it remains that way!
Guest lowbug Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 Could be worse they could be trying to sell you Penis enlargement pills, or great ways to work from home.... :)
