Guest w4rmk Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 By default the banners across the top the screen when dialing say "AT&T". Here are some T-Mobile banners for you to replace it with. In order to do this you will have to make changes to the registry as outlined below. You can get a free registry editor here. Instructions: Select the logo you want below. Right click on the picture and choose "save as", enter tmobile.gif as the filename. Copy tmobile.gif to the IPSM folder on your phone. Edit the 2 registry entries as outlined below: Registry Changes (from midnight's post here) The Logo that appears while dialing: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Rai/:MSCdial Select 'Values' Select 'BannerImage' and change the Value data to the location of the logo (eg., IPSMtmobile.gif if the logo is saved in the IPSM folder and is called 'dial.gif') The Logo that appears while In-Call: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Rai/:MSCprog Select 'Values' Select 'BannerImage' and change the Value data to the location of the logo (eg., IPSMcall.gif if the logo is saved in the IPSM folder and is called 'call.gif')tmobile.giftmobile2.giftmobile3.giftmobile4.giftmobile5.giftmobile6.giftmobile7.gif
Guest w4rmk Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 For those of you who really don't want a "branded" phone, here is another logo. This one is a .jpg, I have verified that jpeg's work just as well as gif's for the banner.usaflag.jpg
Guest madu Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 or just delete 'BannerImage' value for :MSCdial and you will have no logo on screen (ie 2 more contacts visible):ss002.JPG
