Guest yoos Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Anyone know why I can no longer access my hotmail via MSN Mobile on the USA T-Mobile network??? I really need this back!! I can get to the first page ( http://mobile.msn.com ) with no problems, but when I hit Hotmail or Login it takes me to the login screen (no problems yet)... but then when I enter my account info and hit 'Sign In' it says 'Finding site...' in the title bar for several minutes and then says 'The page you are looking for cannot be found.'! I've used this with no problems a hundred times in the past... Not sure why this doesn't work anymore??? :cry: Anyone have this problem on other networks or T-Mobile in the US? I have the T-Zones Pro package with T-Mobile. Any :idea: :?:
Guest nytehawk2002 Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 I was unable to get to MSN mobile for a week. Then one day I hard reset my phone and all was well. I'm not sure why though. Maybe someone else wants to shed some light?

Guest martin Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Try deleteing the IE history in Menu-Options-Memory and also make sure you are using the Internet Connection. Protocol should be HTTP in properties. I can access many sites using WSP but I can't log in. Check if you can access it via http://www.modaco.com/hotmail ?
Guest yoos Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 I HOPE someone can shed some light on this... I upgraded to the UK 1.61 ROM and I'm still on T-Mobile in the USA. I did an extra hard reset, just in case... If I try to access MSN Mobile hotmail straight away it DOESN'T work???? If I use passthrough it works... Then, I can change it back to not use passthrough take it out of the cradle, kill all acive programs (using X-Bar, option 2), reconnect using GPRS and it will then WORK!!???? After a while it won't work over GPRS anymore unless I first connect via passthrough, which is VERY annoying. I haven't worked out how long before it doesn't work after doing this yet... But I CAN turn my phone off, leave it off for a minute, turn it back on and I can still connect via GPRS... Still, after a while it will stop working unless I first connect via passthrough... Very strange... Any ideas how I can get this to work over GPRS all the time??

Guest yoos Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 I did try that before but I tried it one more time just now and this is what happens... I deleted the IE history and cookies, rebooted, tried to connect and got to the sign in screen, entered my info, hit sign in, CAN'T connect (hangs for a while on 'Finding site...' then says 'The page you are looking for cannot be found.'. I can do the same thing as before though... I connected via passthrough and it works. I then changed the settings back to GPRS, connected via GPRS and it works over GPRS... I just rebooted the phone and tried again and it works over GPRS. I am sure that after some time it will stop working again... One thing that is kind of weird and may be related, is that the first time I connect and get to the hotmail page where I can see my emails there is a lock in the top title bar (to identify it's a secure connection I guess). Any other time I try to connect afterwards the lock no longer appears.... Another weird thing is that in the title bar it says connecting... finding site... connecting... finding site... connecting... finding site... connecting... loading... and then finally loads the page. Does that mean anything?? Not sure why it does that so many times...

My phone cannot load the cookies, i have it enabled and everything, it could be the settings im using for my IE? im not sure. I'm using Tmobile USA and i can't log on to the tzones homepage or hotmail or yahoo mail or any other site that uses cookies. If anyone CAN PLEASE help me out i'd be very much appreciated.
