As the Pocket TV sould be installed via your PC and not the phone. thanks for getting back. The phone is connected to the PC via USB, and Activesync'd, which i think is what i need to do. I click the PocketTV installer, set up comes up, but then i keep getting that message.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Have you had problems instaling any other app? just wondering if Activsync is playing up. Something else to try is to reboot the PC and the phone before trying the install again.

Activesync seemed to be working fine - although i was signed in only at Guest level, not Standard. Could that be a factor?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 Yep I'm pretty sure that's your problem as Guest just gives you some basic functions.

Guest mau Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 i had the same problem, and i read somewhere that i had to have the phone plugged into usb (or not plugged in? cant remember) when installing activsync. So i downloaded the latest 1.7 activsync, made sure the phone was plugged in (or out?) and everything worked fine! Alternatively, sometimes if an install fails from the PC, u can find the CAB files inside the activsync diretory on the PC. Not all programs do this though. Hope that helps!
