Guest spv_dman Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 For me Dr. DivX is more user friendly and easier to use for encoding in .avi format. Download the trial at www.divx.com :)
Guest martin Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 You should find a lot of topics on encoding using the MoDaCo search. This is a good topic for help with DIVX (note section3 for download instructions) http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php...er=asc&start=30 Another topic in the pinoy section http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php...hlight=vcd+divx For other video encoders try Coolsmartphone http://www.coolsmartphone.com/index.php?op...tid=21&Itemid=3 Hope you get it working :)
Guest pyke Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 ....or try using the windows media encoder.that's what i use.
Guest scoundrel010 Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 try encoding it on vcd cutter... then convert it again using media encoder but the problem is u need 128 mb free on your mmc for this... :)
Guest smartrey Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 try to use vcdgear. First you have to convert from vcd to mpeg using vcdgear, secondly, convert from mpeg to wmv using windows media encoder.
Guest nyagi Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 the idea is to convert the .dat file into mpg file. there are a lot of converters available. try searching the best that will match your taste. you can start at www.vcdhelp.com. once converted, use microsoft media encoder, readily available at microsoft website. convert the mpg file to wmv (a little thinkering on the setting of course) and you're done. and btw... a high storage is still needed. Guest pyke Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 nyagi, you dont have to convert the .dat file to mpeg.what i just did was to rename the .dat extension to mpeg and use windows media encoder to convert it to wmv.
Guest nyagi Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 nyagi, you dont have to convert the .dat file to mpeg.what i just did was to rename the .dat extension to mpeg and use windows media encoder to convert it to wmv. hottee_male, thanks! i stand corrected. i used conversion kapat avi files pala. :)
