Guest icornish Posted December 17, 2002 Report Posted December 17, 2002 I have the beta 9 version, so this is probably my fault... When in Media Player, it says I have no free space on the SmartPhone device. This means it won't try to copy the files across. So I can't listen to my favourite MP3's when I'm out walking the dog...
Guest chewie Posted December 17, 2002 Report Posted December 17, 2002 Why dont you copy them over using windows explorer?
Guest icornish Posted December 17, 2002 Report Posted December 17, 2002 Tried that one, but because they are digitally whatevered, I can't play them.
Guest johnsoanes Posted December 17, 2002 Report Posted December 17, 2002 I have had the same problem using Windows Media player 9 under Windows XP Pro. I was able to copy my using explorer. Shame it doesnt work though because i was hoping to use the auto convert feature of Medial player 9 to reduce the bitrate of the music files automatically.
Guest madu Posted December 17, 2002 Report Posted December 17, 2002 if you are talking about file (piracy) protection, then I suggest you turn off protection feautre when encoding. It's somewhere there...
Guest rcraswell Posted December 17, 2002 Report Posted December 17, 2002 So I can't listen to my favourite MP3's when I'm out walking the dog... There's the key. You CAN listen to your favorite MP3s, just not your favorite WMAs. Convert your files to MP3 and you should be fine. Also, unless you have an SD card, you're not going to get many audio files of any type on your phone. They're big, your phone's small. --ron
