forgive my stupidness, but how are you supposed to move your contacts from the sim card onto the phone?

I have HTC tanager

Go to ProgramsSim Manager then choose MenuSelect All

and then MenuAdd to Contacts

is there a way to edit my contacts from the pc as they are very untidy and doing it on the phone would take agers

The phone is made to sync with Microsoft Outlook, which was provided on CD with your phone.

The phone syncs with Outlook via ActiveSync which was also included on the same disk.

Whatever contacts you create in Outlook get sync'd to the phone and vice versa.
