no. they have both different platforms. the xda runs on pocketpc phone edition os while the SAP on smartphone os. although they are both based on wince 3.0, programs written for each platforms isn't interchangeable.

pocketpc os and pocketpc phone edition is more or less the same. only that the phone edition has additional programs in it that is used, obviously, for its phone/gprs functions.

smartphone os is entirely different.
