Guest Matt Kirby Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 These scams are known as 419 scams - 419 is the part of the Nigerian penal code that deals with fraud. Some one did manage to strike back though - one guy scammed the scammer into giving him £171! Full tale on http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/archive/31270.html>The Register.
Guest morpheus2702 Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 There should be a death penalty for spammers. No trial, no defendents rights, just straight to the gas chamber and bye bye f***er. I get offered around 50 Penis Patches a day. OK, maybe I could do with a couple but not 50... According to a friend that works at Barclays, fraud is some sort of mark of manhood in Nigeria?
