Guest redman Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 I'm in the US and just bought my MPx200 today. This is my first Smartphone and enjoying playing with all the functions. When I was doing research on this phone, I read several times that it could play MP3's as well as video using Smartphone 2002's Windows Media Player. To this point, I am unsuccessful getting video to play. Seems Smartphone 2002's WMP doesn't recognize "mpg" or "mpeg". Any clues...so I need to be trying to play wmv files instead of mpeg's? thanks, bill
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 Hello & Welcome to the site. WMP only play WMA video files. PocketTV and PocketMVP play MPG and DIVX AVI files respectively. Both are free files that can be downloaded at... http://www.monolithix.org as well as a ton of other free software for the smartphone.
