As users and designers the homescreen offers both personalisation and accessibility,

What plugins do people want ? What do they want them to do ?

For instance, the MRU is ok from an apps perspective (for it to detect the apps been used though I think you need to boot it via a .lnk file)

but how handy would a most recently done thing (as in specific call, specific text etc be ?

A plugin that worked out how I used my phone would rock.

What other plugins would people like to see ?

For months, I have been looking for a plugin that will show you more then one upcoming calendar entry on the homescreen. Right now, there are two plugins... One that shows an "entire day" event, and one that shows the very next thing on your calendar. I want a plugin that will let you customize how many days forward it will look into your calendar, and how many entries it will display on your home screen. There is a plugin that does that same thing for the PocketPC and I love it!!!

That is my suggestion. If I am an idiot and there is something that does that already, please let me know! :)

Well, I've expressed this wish two times in other threads but what the hell:

Would love to see a plugin that shows my active tasks on the todayscreen.. Wouldn't mind paying for either ! :)

i would really love a plugin that was like a little notepad, & would display a certain amount of text on the homescreen. you know, for shopping lists & stuff! I second Stickman's suggestion. Calendar+ for the PocketPC allows you to set the number of days ahead you'd like. Even if the current plugin would allow you to show the next few appointments ahead (if not the next few days) that would be useful.

I've searched but not found any plugin that gives you a automatic keylock.

err, thats cos you can do it anyway, in a way, it isnt keypad lock, but phone lock :)

go to programs>settings>security>phone lock

set your time you want it to lock, and then set a password, now, easiest way i found is just set the password as 0, then to unlock its just 0 then softkey 1, and so doesnt use any more buttons than normal keypad lock

Personally, I would really like to see a plug in which allows you to see the amount of time left to a particular event, just like T- Day Counter for the pocket pc on http://www.zimac.de/cestuff.htm

Would come in handy for the bored moments at work when i'm just counting down until my next holiday...
