Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Right guys - this has freaked me out big style :shock: ! Was at the kitchen sink doing the washing up, looked out the window and something in the sky. Now im not saying it was a UFO but it certainly looked like one.New Picture7.jpg
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Blobs on black aren't particulary easy to identify, probably a firework or aircraft...
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Thats what I thought - except it was hanging there for a good 20 seconds and then vanished. Really weird - I dont want to believe in stuff like this ! Scares me !
Guest mike-oh Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Was this with your spv camera? :) probably a lighthouse then :( Um probably an aircraft, like mono said. You needed something for scale which is all too often missing on "UFO" photos.
Guest mike-oh Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Ok i ran it through some software and managed to enhance it a little;
Guest mike-oh Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Was your car missing the next morning per chance?ufo.jpg
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 hehehehe- nice one. I was too far away to hear anything and it certainly wasnt a light house. It will be interesting ot see of the local press picked up on anything. And ye sit was taken with the SPV - i thought it came out great considering it was taken in almost pitch darkness. spacecowboy
Guest mike-oh Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Crikey it must've been really bright then! I think there's a website where you can report suspect UFO sightings. I'll see if i can find it. *EDIT* took all of 2 seconds; http://www.ufocenter.com/ You can even email them the picture.
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 hmm, why do i feel like a crackpot sending this in lol - i think i'll leave it and hope it was some blimp (oh god, please let it have been a blimp!) spacecowboy
Guest midnight Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 two nights to guy fawkes night and you are seeing lights in the sky :) hehe, just kiddin
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 But there was only this one light, no noise either ! + it was there for a good 20 seconds too lol. Ah well who knows? firework - flying saucer, still a riddle in my book hehe
Guest morpheus2702 Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Have you received an anal probe recently? BTW, that's not an offer.
Guest spacecowboy6982 Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 Actually - now that you mention it....:) Seriously tho, Im now guessing it was just a firework that happened to stay alight longer than the average hehe
