Guest ripe909 Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 My MPx200 says that I'm roaming all the time, I assume because I am on T-Mobile's system instead of ATTWS... is there a registry setting or something to tell the MPx I am on my home network when on T-Mobile? By the way, the little triangle on the top of the display is the roaming indicator I am talking about. Thanks ripe
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 That's a TMobile Problem. Not a phone problem. I dont think thiere is much you can do about it. Though I think you can go to a TMobile store and buy a new SIM card. (I remember them costing $20. I read in another post that this took the roaming indicator away.

I'm not so sure it's a SIM card issue. I'm having the same situation, but my sim card when placed in my SE P800 does not indicate I am roaming. I'm inclined to believe this is an OS issue. Anyone else have experience with this? :?
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 11, 2003 Report Posted November 11, 2003 Heard the issue many times on this forum and others. The roaming signal came up as soon as they started converting their network. I just ignored it as I was told by T-Mobile what it was from. Other users confirmed. Some said that when they switched their SIM for a new one...the "problem" ws gone.
Guest nokia7190 Posted November 14, 2003 Report Posted November 14, 2003 I am 100% sure is the SIM card issue. I believe you must be in NY or NJ T-Mobile market. In the past six month, T-Mobile has update thier MMSC code. For those of you with voicestream SIM card, a roaming indicator will appear if you insert into MPx200. However, if you got one of those T-Mobile SIM will not have the same problem.
Guest kristianmatthews Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 i've just put a "3" sim in my mpx200 and it too has the triangle.
